My decision to pursue a career in sports has never wavered.

In my current role with Georgia Southern University Athletics, I serve as the Director of Creative and Digital Strategy where I execute the digital and social media strategic plan for the department’s 17 sports, while leading the creative team consisting of graphic design, photography, videography and social media. I collaborate directly with all external units to ideate and execute brand-boosting, innovative content-driving and fan-engaging strategies and also work hand-in-hand with our ESPN+ and Learfield broadcast teams.

Before arriving in Statesboro, I served as an independent contractor providing on-air talent and script creation for the PGA TOUR’s digital and social platforms, while also serving as a correspondent for PGA TOUR University. With PGA TOUR U, I fulfilled on-air talent, photography and videography needs.

In addition, I freelance with the Naismith Awards providing video edits, while also helping guide the Naismith Trophy digital and social efforts.

Prior to becoming a freelancer, I served as the Director of Digital and Social Media for the Sun Belt Conference. I hosted, produced, shot and edited all content for Sun Belt social media platforms, while also driving the conference’s digital and social media strategy.

While at the Sun Belt, I also served as a sideline reporter for select ESPN+ and ESPN3 Sun Belt baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, golf, men’s soccer, softball and volleyball broadcasts during both the regular and postseasons.

Before the Sun Belt, I was a reporter and producer for the University of Florida Athletic Association.

I received my communication degree from The University of Tennessee, where I spent nearly three years working in the athletic department, both in broadcasting and media relations.

What’s one of the best things about working in sports? Every story is unique and I have been rewarded many opportunities to help tell them.
